I'm not another one of those people bitching about the 90 minutes limit. I find it sufficient for my needs

My problem is the lack of control it gives you. I'd rather be able to design from scratch without using a theme. But even with themes, the control is lacking. I was trying to burn some TV episodes onto a DVD the other day. I wanted to put the TV series logo into the menu of my DVD. But it seems iDVD doesn't let you do that. I didn't want to replace the whole background or anything, merely add the logo.

I know I'll get a load of people telling me to use DVDSP. I can't afford that, so I don't. I just wish the free program was a little better.

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

Open iDVD's Package, And go into /Contents/Resources
find something with a .theme extension
Inside that package there is all the files that make a theme. You can edit those and if you have basic XML and grid alignment knowledge, you can make some "different" looking themes. (In English.lproj is a file called Description.plist which has all the grid listings.)
