Can I Save MailBoxes and Reinstall in Panther?

I would like to do a clean install of Panther, but I really need to save all my Mail- mailboxes.
If I copy them to a disc, should I have any problem bringing them back into the new Panther Mail?

Hi, I copied my, bookmarks and mail, from Jaguar 10.2.8 after a clean install of panther, so It should work for you. from panther to panther.

It will ask you to replace them when you drag them back.

you can just copy the entire folder ~/Library/Mail onto the Panther system.
