The official Panther compatible release. Anyone tried it yet? I'm a bit hesitant based on the few sketchy reviews on versiontracker. Incompatibilities with Exposé being the kicker.
So, I'm asking for anyone who is braver than I, and has installed and used it to post their experiences. Mainly because I'm paranoid.

I'm using it with Expose and have noted no problems.
YMMV

I've tested this for awhile and haven't seen any problems with Exposé on my end...

Strangely, I can't get the double-clicking in the title bar behavior to work in my installation (Panther, WindowshadeX 3.1). All other behaviors seem to work OK (command key twice, control key twice, cmd-M). But it just plain ignores double clicking the title bar, with or without cmd.
Hmm....

the double-click titlebar isn't working here either. so much for Panther "compatibility"

Yeah, the reviews on versiontracker are filled with bug reports. Apparently Unsanity admits a bug with Exposé. I'm sure there are many more bugs. I'm going to hold off until the next update.

Unsanity has informed me that you need to check "Minimize when double clicking a window title bar" in System Preferences/Appearance in order to enable this function in WindowshadeX 3.1.
Since doing that, all has been well, though I haven't been testing it in combination with Exposé too much yet.

Aww..c'mon... no response to this? I thought it was at least a little funny.

actually it was messing up with lots of applications. safari, terminal, and finder were fine, most others were not.
i uninstalled windowshadeX, logged out, logged in, reinstalled windowshadeX, logged out, logged in, then it worked correctly with everything :/
i guess something got corrupted somehow
