Since installing Panther (yesterday, 30th), I've had a strange problem with Terminal. When I open the app, the window consists only of the upper most left button and a portion of the title bar ("very" tiny). I can't maximize the window and if I close it to open another, I get the same thing. I tried ditching my prefs, but still no joy.

I never had this problem under Jaguar. Any advice would be great appreciated.

I deleted this:

~/Library/Application Support/Terminal Default.term

What cache(s) and other files should I delete? (path specific)

Thanks.

"Path specific" try to trash Terminal's preference file.

~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Terminal.plist
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

I found that several other people were having the issue (according to replies to my post on the Apple forums). The fix is to make sure that the Monaco font is turned on. If you turn it off, the behavior will appear (Monaco is the default font for Terminal).
