I do not think my Panther Upgrade installed all the necessary items on my computer (G4-533) to perform a snyc. Anyone have any ideas have to install these extra items? I have searched the forms, and it seems like most other people have software or divers that make this happen.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Huh? What do you mean?

You can use iSync to synch.

If you want to get info out of Exchange and into Address Book, then configure the LDAP access with the relevant info from Exchange.

About your question: "You can use iSync to synch."

I seached some of Apple's discussion, and there are references to iSync connecting to the exchanger server:

http://discussions.info.apple.com/we...9.14@.599baf89

What do you mean by "configure the LDAP access" My network guys knows nothing about a LDAP

Thanks...

wow.

no single coherent question asked yet.

iSync works well for syncing phones etc.

However, exchange syncing has proven problematic for many that have tried. There are other specific threads on this problem.

LDAP is a whole other thing - many servers allow for LDAP access in address book - it allows for entries to appear under the "directories" item.

At least some Exchange servers can be accessed via LDAP, but my experience is that you need to use port 400 rather than the normal port 389.

Try that (if indeed that's what you're trying to do).
