I use VersionTracker more or less exclusively, and sometimes get tips off MacNN and Macintouch.

Are there any other sites I should consider? After seeing everybody's favorite apps, I think I'm missing out on some.

MacUpdate which is similar to VersionTracker, but better in my opinion. It's not as cluttered and takes you directly to the orginal developer's site in one click rather than the way VT does.

Going directly to the developer's site is a great bonus, thx for the tip.

Glad I could help. Yeah, that's one of the reasons I prefer MacUpdate over VT.
