No sound from disc burned with iDVD 3

I have burned a couple of discs using iDVD3. They all play correctly on my computer and the video plays fine from my consumer DVD player, but I don't get any sound through my DVD player. I have a Pioneer 525. Anyone have a similar problem?

The Pioneer 525 is listed as supported on the Apple web page.
