So I finally got around to installing Panther this weekend. I'm having problems keeping my 3rd party menu extras running. When I log out and log back in, none of the 3rd party menu extras will reload (sound source, iaddressx, and spy). Weatherpop does reload...

any fix for this? i've tried both menu enabler from unsanity and some command line symbolic link i saw in the forums, but neither seem to work (maybe I am doing it wrong) thanks.

I have Spy working....you need to make sure the PrefPane is put into the:

/Library/PreferencePanes

I used to have it in my Users/User_Name/Library/PreferencePanes, and that didn't work...

Try that with your other menulets and see how it goes....

iAddress uses menucracker and I belive the others do too. The author of menucracker released a new version for panther a couple of weeks ago, so it's probably just a matter of the other programmers using the new version or you opening the package and updating menu cracker.
