Everytime when I start up my OS image it runs for about 30 seconds (I'm unable to open anything) and then it turns into a black screen and says "Disk Read Error" "Press ctrl+alt+delete to restart".


I have no clue what to do?

Does anyone have any tips on solving this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd make a new disk image and transfer all files from the old image to the new in the Finder. At least in VPC 6 you can mount the PC disk images in the finder, I don't know about v. 5. To make a new disk image you choose Virtual Disk Assistant from one of the menys in VPC, and make sure that it's the same size as the old one so everything fits. Then you change the disk image in the "PC settings" in VPC to use the new image.

I currently have ONE file that's the drive image with Windows XP on it. ....

when I create a new drive image, how would I transfer everything onto the new image?
