Is their a way to set Mail.app under Panther to automatically show when new mail arrives? I'm always hiding the application and also have the dock hidden, so the only way I know I have new mail is to constantly check the Mail.app dock icon...I know Entourage will open when new Mail arrives...

Am I missing something really easy?!?

You could just set up a rule for all mail (use the account option, probably) to either play a sound or run an aplpescript.

The applescript could do anything you wanted, including, I am sure, open all unread mail.

in addition to the rule-applescript combo, you could also try turning on the dock-bouncing on new email - it gives a small visual cue even when the dock is hidden...
