Don't know what I need to do here. Everytime I try to upload a file to a remote ftp server using either FTP or NcFTP (both command line), I get a "no PORT command issued first" error.
In Transmit, I just have to disable Passive Mode in the Transmit Preferences and it uploads fine. However, neither FTP nor NcFTP seem to respect the PASV setting in my Network settings (on my dial-up acct). Is there another way that you have to disable passive mode for either of the command line clients?
The default setting in the Network system prefs pane for a dial-up connection is Passive Mode Enabled (PASV) in the Proxies tab. I unchecked it and that didn't resolve the issue w/ the command line clients. Right now I've re-enabled it as it was the default setting.
Thanks for your time
