I just noticed that one can't search the Trash email folder with the search field in the upper right of the mail viewer window. All searches come up with zero results, regardless of whether there are matches for the search string, or not.

This occurs in Jaguar's Mail.app, version 1.2.5 (v552). I wonder whether it's fixed in Panther.

You can search the trash folder in Panther.
