Does anyone know about an iTunes plugin that will sync together several computers to play the same song at the same time? this would rock for a business or office or whatever, where you want to roam around, and have a unified sound.

WinAmp used to have a plug-in with functionality, but I'm a big iTunes fan, so I was hoping to find something like that for it.

Wow...that would be very cool! I've always wanted multiroom-functionality with iTunes without having to wire up the speakers. That would be awesome!

How did it come to this? Goodbye PowerPC. | sensory output

There was one program (can't remember name) that allowed you to broadcast whatever 1 iTunes computer is playing to the rest of your network as a streaming radio station. On my network this had a 1 second lag though.

Search MacUpdate for 'iTunes Sharing' or something similar.

Yeah, I looked at everything on version tracker, and nothing stood out. I'll check mac update though.

Okay I found it! It's called MP3 Sushi.

Edit: Seems that the radio function doesn't currently work under Panther. If you have Jag then check it out.

The last two offices I've been in we wired all the rooms together during the build-out with RCA jacks in the walls for just that purpose.
