Hi. A friend wants to buy my copy of Photoshop 4 so she can then upgrade to the CS suite for £399 instead of having to buy the whole lot from scratch. I no longer need my own copy as I work from home and my employer has supplied all the software. I'm in the UK and trying to get email support from Adobe is like getting blood from a stone.

Has anyone managed to transfer ownership successfully? Thanks in advance.

Yes. I got my first Photoshop this way-- years ago.
It took actually calling Adobe (both transferer and transferee) and talking to a real person, faxing some paperwork, etc., but it went pretty smoothly.

(This was an international transfer... NZ -> US)

The frustrating thing is the US and Canada site has full details and a PDF of a form you need to fill out. The UK site is about as much use as a wax kettle. I've emailed them and asked for info...
