I have a DVD that I've ripped and recompressed to 4.27 gigs. It's in the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders already, playable in the DVD player, and ready to be burned. I tried putting in a blank DVD, naming it correctly, copying the folders to it and burning, but it wouldn't work in any player or program after it was done.

Every tutorial says I need Toast, but can't I do this with the built in burning utilities? Can I use the burn features in Disk Utility, or just the Burn DVD that's in the Finder?

I think it is not possible with the built in features.

Search for shareware or even freeware alternatives to Toast...
