I seem to be having a problem backing up my important files to my external hard drive that I hope somebody can help me with. I am using backup 2 from Apple and it constantly keeps telling me that I don't have the proper privileges to copy some of my own files, even though I created them. Some of these files were created on my old iMac and then transfered over to my new e-Mac. My web publishing program (Freeway Pro) then wouldn't let me work with some of my own files until I did a get info on them and changed the privileges on some of them. They said that I only had reading rights. So I did a thorough search through my files to make sure that was changed to read & write( even checked all the internal files) Well that fixed my web program problems however I still can't back them up. I have gone in and checked my files several times. What can I do about this.
