My wife has just upgraded to Panther (on my advice) and in iCal, many of the birthdays have moved forward by one day!

What can this be? Another possibly relevant fact is that this problem might have also co-incided with the clocks changing a couple of weeks ago. There were a number of problems reported in the Spring when the clocks went forward by one hour.

I can find no other reports of this on these forums - any ideas?

All of the birthdays in my Address Book seem the same. iCal's dates for anniversaries haven't changed for me either.

Do you use a third party program to put your Address Book birthdays into iCal for you?

No, just straight into iCal. It's a bizarre thing.

Have you set the correct time zone for your location?

iCal>Preferences>Time Zone>Turn on Time Zone support

then select your tz in the upper right corner of the calendar window.
