Sorry if this topic has been covered before but I couldn't see anything...
I have a Powerbook G4 TiBook with Airport running 10.2. It has a 60 Gig Drive and I am down to my last 6 Gigs of space. I have been researching additional storage options and don't want to use an external drive because I don't want to always have to plug it in, etc.
I should mention that I use the powerbook as a home computer - it almost nevers leaves the house. I am planning to buy my daughter an eMac (which will have 10.3) this Christmas and connect it to the same airport network my Powerbook is on.
My question is this:
Can I designate a portion of the hard drive on her machine as something of a second hard drive that I can access over the wireless network. Ideally, she would be unable to accidently delete it and the folder would be available even when the eMac was not in use (asleep, etc.)
Is this possible? Can anyone help me with this?
