Hello all,

I have a bunch of songs I've bought online, however my Sony burner only works under OS 9, any way to get the songs from iTunes 4 into iTunes for OS 9 so I can burn them to disc? Thanks in advance.

Short answer : No.

The iTMS DRM is only supported in iTunes 4 and up. Sorry.

I mean, that is, I'm not personally sorry, it's not my fault, it's just I feel bad about the whole thing, and I thought I could express myself by saying "sorry". In retrospect that was a bad move, seeing as how it was misleading with regards to my culpability in this whole affair of your not being able to burn your music. I'm sorry for that part, because that was my fault. So that clears that up.

Ahem.

Sorry 'bout Gene Jockey, don't mind him

Anyway - no you can't use them in iTunes 2. *but* I believe there is a hack somewhere that would make your burner work in OS X which would be a much better solution anyway.

Well, I'd been at work 11 hours when I wrote that. But I second TPG's suggestion, in fact head over to XLR8YourMac's drive database and see if anyone has your burner working. In fact, just check out all of xlr8yourmac.com. You won't be sorry.
