How do I make page numbers appear on the standard New Document template? I've got it all worked out to how I like it with all my styles, fully justified, Times NR etc, but can't seem to get this turned on as standard. I know I can do this manually, but I often forget.
This is how I did it...
1. From within Word, Open /Applications/Microsoft Office X/Templates/Normal
2. When "Normal" opens, Insert>Page Numbers
3. Set up how you want it.
4. Quit & Restart Word.
Hope it works for you.
If you just double click Normal from Finder it won't work, and if you Save As Template to overwrite Normal it doesn't work (well it didn't for me anyway).
