I have a customized icon on my "Utilities" folder icon (finally Apple got this right); however, when I attempt to view that folder by using the Finders "Go" menu, I get the generic icon still from the Utilities folder? Can that be changed?
Here is a picture of what I am talking about :
Thanks!

Sorry I don't have an answer - but maybe a theory - are you sure the icon you've pasted onto the utility folder included a version for the size used in the go menu?
(i.e. if you look at it in a finder window with the size of icons turned all the way down, do you see your custom icon rather than a generic folder?)

CandyBar has managed to change the menu icons for me, so it's possible. Probably some fixed system resource somewhere.
edit: nah, thinko, sorry. My utilities folder has a customized _generic folder_ icon.

Anyone like to hazard a guess as to why my Network and iDisk menu selections are greyed out and unselectable for me? I can access both fine via the sidebar and in open/save dialogues...
FWIW, my Utilities icon also remains as the default even though I have a custom icon.

Oh well, no biggie; however, this does puzzle me as to why it's not conforming to the other system resources that are pointing to a different icon for that folder...
