Here is my problem. When I open the program and don't sign on everything is fine, but as soon as I sign on to aol after about 1 to 2 minutes the program unexpectly shuts down. I just started doing this about a month ago. I have tried deleting all the files and reinstalling it like 5 times. I can't seem to figure out what seems to be the reason for this. Any ideas? Thanks

Are you using Mac OS 9 or OS X?
What version of AOL?

Have you used Disk Utility (in Applications/Utilities) to repair permissions on your hard drive?

Go to User>Shared>AOL folder and trash everything except your contacts, favorites, file cabinet and address book. Go to User>Home>Preferences>AOL and trash that folder. Don't empty the trash yet. Restart OSX THEN empty trash. Launch AOL, you will have to setup log in again but your saved files are intact. 95% sure cure for AOL problems.

Quick question is there a reason I can't find the User>Home>Preferences>AOL?

It's actually /Users/your_user_id/Library/Preferences/AOL, or something like that.
