Great application. I am currently broadcasting to my friend in Sydney, Australia over cable.

Lots of effects available, voiceover, etc.

We are having a boatload of fun with this.

Might just have to spring for the paid version.

Check it out folks.

Once they are done with the downloaders, the RIAA is probably going to come after the "pirate" webcasters next.

That said, I've downloaded the app, but haven't played with it, yet. does look like tons of fun. Can you have unlimited commections, or is there a set number, and is it user-defienable? Say, if you want to bradcast 96 kbps mp3 files, and have a 1 mbs cable connection, can you define 10 connections or less so that the stream doesn't time out? Just curious.

I think there is a max of 8 connections. Not sure. Install that puppy and play with it. Exploring is half the fun.

I have downloaded and installed this app and it works like a dream... as long as you don't have very big dreams

No, but seriously, I have been hosting a station for several days now. I set up an "on air" setlist in iTunes and it has worked perfectly.

I told my dad about it and he tried to set it up at his place but he is on an airport and can't quite get it to work because of the dynamic IP situation.

Has anyone had any experience with this. I am not use to having dynamic IP's since at my office we are all static.

By the way... if anyone wants to check out my broadcast to see how it sounds, here is the address.

You need to get the AirPort base station IP address. Use Airport Admin utility to get that.

If it changes, obviously you have to be able to let listeners know, but it should work.

Btw, nice broadcast. Listening now.
