Hello,
In order to have a smooth switch to a new iBook (with Panher) is backing up the "Library" and copying to the new machine sufficient?
beside doccuments movie and iTune...etc...

Back up the home folder, as well as any apps you may have installed, fonts, desktop pics...just do a thorough check and get as much as you can.
