the spam filter in entourage kind of sucks. does anyone know if the program actually "learns" to strengthen it's spam filters like mail.app does?
-> 20" iMac Core Duo, 1GB RAM, lame superdrive that burns at 2x
-> MacBook Pro 2GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM
-> MacBook 2.16GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM

I don't think it does.

But SpamSieve is very good at it.

SpamSieve rocks. It catches 98% of my spam and very rarely has a false positive. Spend some time training it and it becomes a very good tool.
