I have a Desktop G4 and a new 15"AL PB and currently sync my palm with palm desktop on the desktop G4. I would like to be able to sync the desktop files between the two computers without having to connect the palm to the powerbook, anyone know how would I accomplish this?

Essentially, I want to be able to view palm desktop on my powerbook without having to acutally sync the palm to the powerbook. Also, is there other software that makes this easier (aside from isyncal, which I don't want to use b/c I don't like iCal.)

Thanks!

This is far from an elegant solution, and I'm SURE there's a better one. That said, this is what I do. I connect the two computers via AEBS (I mount my desktop on my laptop). Then I drag the user file (I'm pretty sure that's the right one) from the desktop to the laptop, obviously replacing the laptop one.

As I said, far from elegant, but it works. It mostly works because I really don't use Palm much on my laptop. In fact, I went months before updating the laptop files.

I'll be interested to read others' solutions.

I've tried doing what you mention, however whenever I open Palm Desktop on my laptop (which happens to be running Panther) I get a blank data screen (ie no information at all). I've tried relpacing ALL the user files to no avail. Is there some that I am overlooking?
