I have a new G5 dualie, and upgraded to Panther. I alos just upgraded to Adobe Creative Suite as well, and have run into a wierd issue. When I drag a file to the Photoshop CS Icon in the dock, or open file in Photoshop from ImageViewer, the computer launches Photoshop, but does not open any file. Even double-clicking on a Photoshop file produces the same result. Opening the same files from the File menu within Photoshop works fine.

Any Ideas?

I have a dual G5, upgraded to Panther and just installed the Creative Suite Upgrade (thanks to finding a $30 unused photoshop copy on ebay). I can drag a file from iPhoto or from a folder on the dock with no problem.

I have the same problem, on the same machine (a G5 2ghz dual)... Photoshop opens but then nothing happens. No file opens. Using File > Open works but is very annoying! Does anyone have a fix for this?

I found the fix! Make sure the "Adobe Unit" file is in /Library/ScriptingAdditions, then restart.

I have the same problem on a Quicksilver G4 ..... where do I find the Adobe Unit file??

The other thing that drives me nuts is the new fullscreen mode where you can move the picture just about everywhere but you cannot center it again - at least I don't know how to do it!?

I have a 12" ibook, so i love that feature.I guess you could try resizing to make it jump back to the center, but i dont know if that would help.

Oh yeah, and i have the same CS problem as everyone else as well.

Adobe says you must reinstall it, but that does not help certainly.

Well I looked into Chazzoz said, and found this page on Adobe.com. Can anyone host this file?

get it here

Since I have no 'ScriptingAdditions' folder inside my HD/Library, you get the whole thing. If you have yet that folder just pick the file and place it inside.
