I've been told that this will modify some .plist files I want to change more gracefully than say BBEdit or TextEdit... where is this thing?

I bought Panther and don't see it on any disks.

Thanks,
BD

It's on the Xcode disk.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

I popped it in and so no installer for it. Is it named something else? I don't feel like installing a slew of tools onto my machine to just get "Property List Editor."

Thanks,
BD

Unfortunately, there is no stand-alone installer for Property List Editor - it is part of the entire Developer Tools package. However, you can use Pacifist to extract just Property List Editor from the developer tools package - that way, you don't have to install all 1 GB of the developer tools.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!
