Hello!
I'm doing a video project with a group of friends. We have broken up the editing--one of my friends is doing half of the video, I'm doing the other half. My friend has an emac w/ imovie, and I have an 12'' pb with imovie. My pb has a superdrive, so we're planning to burn the imovie file on dvd.

Here's my question: How can I import my friend's part of the video (from her emac) onto my pb?

We are sharing a router, but I don't know how to set up a network. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Easiest way:

Use FireWire Target Disk Mode. Shutdown your PB. With a 6-pin/6-pin FW cable, connect the PB to the up-and-running eMac. Boot the PB while holding-down the "T" key (for Target) until the yellow FireWire logo appears on your screen. Release the key, and the PB drive will mount like a FW drive on her eMac. Drag and drop.

I'd have her export her iMovie editing as a full-quality DV clip (File>Export>QuickTime>Full Quality>DV). From there, you can drop it into your timeline.
I am stupidest when I try to be funny.
