I started to sync my stuff from iCal to my T610 cell phone. Can anyone tell me why all day events are not shown on my T610 calender? Am I missing something?

I would like to add some birthdays as repeating all day events (with alarm function).

Also, can the birthday field in AddressBook be used in iCal?

If it is anything like the T68i (the T610 is the newer version of this phone isn't it?) then they don't synch because the phone's software doesn't support the display of all day events. I wish Apple would generate some workaround for this, but they haven't for the T68i so I doubt they will for the T610 either.

Don't wait for Apple to produce a workaround. Try All-Day Fixer. Find it at Version Tracker.

Beware, the T630, with essentially T610 firmware, is confirmed to have same shortcoming. Just add new skin, vibestick & screen to the mobile phone.

Remember it's Sony Ericsson's fault not Apple's. Apple _could_ produce a 'work around' but not a real a solution.

Pity about all the tasty sync promo copy on their sites eh? They just failed to mention half of it doesn't work.

More on the issue at: FoxPop and bi66erPicture.

Maybe similar problem for P800 & P900 too. It all began with the T68i even though (I've heard) the earlier T39m and R320/R320s _did_ handle all-day events! Go figure.
