IE (at least IE for PC) can automatically fit an image to the browser window. Can Safari do this? I was trying to view some rather large images the other day in Safari and I could only view a small portion of them since they were so much bigger than the browser window.
Thanks,
Mike

Camino recent nightly builds do that.

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

No I don't believe that this is something that Safari can do (at the moment). Firebird does (at least the PC version does anyway).

NO, but Camino, Mozilla and Firebird are able to auto adjust images. It's been mentionned that only nigthly camino build had the feature, it's not true, it's only enabled by default in the nightly and should be enabealeable with older camino releases.

I hate that 'feature'!
It was enabled on all our college PCs, with no way to turn it off. Drove me mad!

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.

You wouldn't agree that it would be nice to have the "option"? If the screen is only so large, and you want to see the whole image, you need to save it and open it in another app, such as Preview. That isn't exactly convenient!
