On my beige G3 [XLR8 466G4] after establishing a stream with Real Player it would start and then, after about five or so minutes the system would freeze, The GUI locked up and , from another machine, the OS {OSX10.2.6] would be dead. This startd in OS 10.2.0 and continues. Recently I moved to a 550 G4 tower and the same thing happens except that the entire machine is not dead but stutters on the last 100-150 msec of audio, repeating endlessly, but the GUI is still locked up. Need a restart to clear things. Very mysterious. Anyone else with this very un-OSX-like behavior? I have tried re-unstuffing the app and it still happens. I have tried re-downloading the app and it still happens. Frustrated.
