Could anyone recommend some file synchronization software for me?

Prior to switching I used the "offline files" feature in Windows 2000 & XP to make sure I always had my data files synced on both my desktop and my laptop. Now I'm using a Mac (OS X) I'm not sure what software to use to
replace this feature.

Is there a GUI version of rsync? I did a Google search and found lots of sites about rsync, but I don't know if is exactly wha I am after.

Ideally I am after a simple program that will reliably keep files in sync between two different computers connected over a network. I'm happy to do the synchronization manually, but it would be even better if the software could detect when both computers are connected to the network and automatically update.

I have found a few programs that look like they may do the job (Folders Synchronizer X; Synchronize! X Plus; Carbon Copy Cloner; and File Synchronization), but I was hoping that someone who has got this working might be able to recommend what they are using.

I've been quite happy with "ChronoSync"

http://www.econtechnologies.com/site/index.html

It's been reliable and is easy to use.
