Does anyone know what setting to enable so that the Page up/down arrows while scrolling through an open document are right above/below each other in Word for OS X?
Thanks in advance,

I think you're stuck with that dot in the middle. - it selects what behavior those arrows will have (find next, find next graphic, page up/down, etc.)
As an alternative, you can open the "Powerbook" toolbar which has it's own page-up/page-down buttons, and (as with everything these days in Word) you can customize any and all toolbars to include such buttons.

Actually, I was referring to single up arrow above the 2 arrows above and below the center dot. I'm trying to get the single up and single down arrow together, so that they're nested above the multiple up/down arrows.
Thanks anyway,

Aha -
Word here actually respects the system preference: Just go to the "Appearance" control pane and select the option to put scroll arrows together.
this will also change things for every other app, FYI.
