ok, i had toast 5.2 and when i updated to osx 10.3 it stopped working. i've tried deleting all the files, re-installing and nothing.
i want version 6 but i cant find anywhere to download it
what burning software do you have and is it worth buying?

There is an update for Toast 5.xx available on Versiontracker.com. Fixes it in Panther.

I suspect you are using a naughty copy of Toast? Most Toast updates will crash/quit the app or simply refuse known pirated serial numbers.
A legit serial should be fine with updates.
Ps, where possible, I use the OS X built in burning utilities. Completely free (well, bundled) does the job and is utterly stable. For more demanding/awkward burns, I'll resort to Toast.

well i guess im stuck with using the built in burner
i just need it to burn dvd movies but i guess i can live w/o
maybe i'll buy a copy down the line
