I was using Safari to configure a computer on Dell's online site. (Don't ask... it ain't for me.)

Parts of bullets, etc. get cut off when I try to save it as a PDF file. Anyone else notice this?

This isn't just a Safari issue. AppKit widgets generally do not draw correctly when they're printed, especially when the application which prints them scales them beforehand (as Safari does).

Hmmm... Any explanation of this? It's pretty irritating.

I'm not really sure why this happens. As far as I can tell, some of the graphical parts of the controls are drawn in full size, and the parts with text are scaled along with the rest of the printed page. It appears as if Apple is drawing some parts of their controls in such a way that they're ignoring whatever scaling has been performed on the rest of the view.
