It seems that carrafix works VERY RARELY for me. Is there a known problem with Panther or carrafix in general? when it works, it's AWESOME! Anything else with the same functionality that I can compare it to?

I just rebooted, launched carrafix, and launched dcgui. Carrafix isn't limiting my uploads. I checked and have the correct port listed in carrafix as well as the "UL" button checked.

Are you using Panther client or server? In Panther client it works fine, but with Panther server, you need to enable the Firewall and check/uncheck the appropriate rules.

Well, you should make sure you aren't using any other apps that mess with the firewall, I was using PeerVanguard for awhile then I found that carrafix wasn't working anymore.

/me watches his BitTorrent and KDX uploads get capped at the speed he designated.

I use throttled to do what CarraFix does. Throttled was the first, it's the best.

It's a little more hardcore to set up, but it works in Panther.

I'm checking throttled, but it doesn't seem as easy to use as carrafix. Is there a way to undo any mistakes I might make with ipfw?

I'm using panther client and I've never put any other firewall software on my machine.
