Hello.
I'm running 10.3.1 and Safari 1.0. I corrupted the Safari application through sheer idiocy and I wish to re-install it, but the installer won't let me. Can someone please tell me how to unintall Safari completely so I can just start over? thanks a lot.

Well, you cannot run Safari v1.0 on Panther, so you must really be running Safari v1.1 (or later)...hence the Safari v1.0 won't let you install; however, you should be able to re-install from your Panther Install Discs...

From what I have heard you can not install Safari separately from your install disks unless you have Pacifist v1.6 (Panther compat.) which allows you to select and install the applications you need.

Other than this a full install seems to be the only way to get Safari, as Apple does not seem to make it available for downloading.

You can also use the pax command to extract the needed files from the .pkg given by Apple. no need to use a specific application you just need to read pax's manual.
