In Outlook/Entourage if you have an account setup to not delete messages from the server, you can then change the status of a message to delete next time, and then it will be deleted next time mail is checked. Can this be done in Mail? I've set it up to not delete messages from the server but there doesn't seem to be a 'flag for deletion' option. Any help appreciated!

I believe in Mail, you need to set it to "delete from server after X (days/weeks/months)" or the like. Not "delete next time I check."

I just use IMAP with mail, and delete from the server (or move it) when I'm good and ready.

That's a shame. I like the way you can choose to delete certain messages in Entourage.
