Define 'crap'.
You can video chat over Yahoo! IM, but if you think iChat is crap then what is 1 postage stamp sized frame per second going to be ? Crap-o-la-la-tastical ?

iChat video conferencing crap? Hah! I challenge anyone to find a video conferencing app that is better than iChat.
If you must have Windows compatibility, then you'll have to settle for a crappy video conferencing app.

iChat is the best video conferencing application hands down on quality. It loses points with the lack of Windows support though.
I generally use OhPhoneX, although it is extremely buggy it does work most of the time allowing mac users to video conference with windows users if they have netmeeting.

You can use this "Userplane" Mac/PC" to video conferencing with PC user.
Just type in your email address in "Demo" box and get in. Your PeeCee friend should do the same thing and when you both see each other's email address on the buddylist of Userplane's and connecte each other
And what's more, no software downloaded NEEDED!!!
Enjoy.
