i cant get diskwarrior to work with panther!

i tried so many dif times and on so many dif mchines..


i could only get it to work with jaguar.


in panther, it would go through the whole process but when getting to the part to replace directories, it doesnt give me option to replace, only tells me whats wrong.

jagurs stil works fine on same machine.

how can i get this to work!?

they are coming out wih an update withen a week or two,

for now just boot off startup disk..

I feel for ya, went through the same thing when my main partition got really toasted and I was trying to run DW3 from my emergency partition which has Panther installed. Fortunately someone told me the answer before I had spent *too* much time struggling with it.

Program still works like gangbusters when you boot from the CD, though. Saved my bacon...

Or what you can do is to get TTP4 as well and I know that works with Panther. You can also boot from the eDrive and repair without booting from CD. Makes the repairs MUCH MUCH quicker

their patch IS late. i emailed them about it, and they prettymuch apologized, and said it would be out in december

I don't think Panther changed anything with the disk format, only with the way Darwin works with it.

This is fine, until you get the situation where you need to do a repair on a G5 running Panther, which can't boot from the DW3 cd...
