I'm building a 10.3.1 image that we'll be deploying to our clients over winter break. Everything's working great except Office. First, the Equation Editor wouldn't work at all, which I finally narrowed down to some corrupt PostScript fonts.

But now, the Insert Object command is giving me headaches. If you're the admin user, everything seems to work just fine. But if you log in as a network user (with a network home directory), you have to trash your ~/Library/Preferences/Microsoft folder. Only then will Office sorta work, but even then it's wonky.

I've tried completely clean-installing Office, but I still get the same non-helpful error, which says something along the lines of "The server or object could not be found."

Anyone else seen this? I've checked permissions, and they're fine. Thanks for any help!

I should mention that this is a completely clean install of Office, and doing another clean-install has no effect.
