Hey all,

One of my users, soon after upgrading to Panther, no longer loves her Mail.app. The junk mail filter is no longer recognizing the vast majority of junk, nor (of course) filing it into her junk mailbox. I've tried resetting the junk mail filter in the Mail preferences, to no avail. Any thoughts?

any chance she's exempting everything that's addressed to her full name? (there's a checkbox in the Junk Mail preferences)

I've had many problems with junk since going to Panther.

Get them to reset the junk mail filter and start again. Get them to repair permissions in case there's a permissions problem with writing to the filters file.

This is at least a start. It hasn't helped me, and 98% of the junk mail still doesn't get marked as junk, and it's driving me nuts.

I've unchecked the options to exempt my full name and previous recipients and waiting to see if that makes any difference. Here's hoping but i doubt it.
