Got the Alien Quadrilogy - it has a DVD_ROM that's supposed to work for OS 9 and above. I'm on 10.3.
It mounts at /Volumes/ALIEN_D9, and contains the following files:
AUTORUN.INF VIDEO_TS alien_OSX
README.TXT alien_OS9 alien_pc.exe

I double-clicked alien_OSX and it's not a program, it's just data that has no associated application.

The README just says, "To launch Alien DVD-Rom locate the file "alien_OSX"".

The DVD_ROM section in the menus when viewing in DVD Player says "Mac users: double-click the DVD icon, then the "alien_OSX" icon and then make your online selection."

I tried opening it in Internet Explorer, and nothing happens.

Any ideas?

Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I've got the same problem and have tried everything. I suspect in may be a batch problem so I'm now hunting for a Fox customer service number.
