Does anyone know of a good way to take a lot of graphic files all of the same size and stitch them together into a multipage pdf document?

Have you tried using textedit. Try it with just a few images at first and see if works for ya. Load the images command+p save as pdf.

You might also want to take a look on versiontracker. I seem to remember one of the PDF tools being able to merge a number of non-pdf formats into a multi-page PDF...

Actually, there is a program included with Mac OS X.

Assuming you're using 10.3 (it might work with 10.2, dunno), click here.
Then drag a folder of images onto the application's icon. You can change the sizes from the "Layout" menu.
