I recently noticed that the 0.7 (March release) of Camino was burning up over 80% CPU on some Flash-intensive sites, and Firebird didn't do much better. The only reason I bothered to check top was that the fan on my 12" AlBook came on--something that hasn't happened for a long time.

Anyone using a nightly build, has this improved?

Have you tried those same sites in Safari, IE, Opera, or some other browser? It's possible that the problem isn't with Camino, but with the Flash plugin itself.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

Yes, here's a somewhat unscientific analysis. The numbers are peak values (when the Flash object is loading) at www.macromedia.com:

Camino: 87%
Firebird: 48%
Safari: 44%
IE: 47%

For a site that really bogs down Camino, try: http://www.free-templates-layouts.com/

Confirmed - laterly it also had some problems rendering pages, like some page will be partially drawn, and when scrolling, part of the page will become blank.

Maybe it's the new rendering engine?
