Hi, both the Apple and Canon websites do NOT list the Canon ZR70MC digital camcorder as being compatible with FCP. Instead, Canon lists it as being compatible with iMovie 3. What do they actually mean by "(not) compatible" ? More specifically, can I still capture with iMovie 3 and THEN transfer files over to FCP to edit them? Thanks a lot!

FCP can edit DV. So, if you can get it in iMovie, you can edit it in FCP.
