Hey guys
I have a question about iTunes
I have about 20gig of mp3s, quite a few of my collection I just burned to a disk and now trying to deleat them
I have been able to delete them from the list in iTunes, but they are still showing up. I did get prompted to actually move it to the trash and I said yes, but I search and I can still find them
Any ideas at all?

Are you deleting them from your I-Tunes folder also?
Go to Finder: User/Music/I Tunes/I tunes 4 Library
Open that, and if your files are still in there, that's why they may refuse to die!!!
If not, try repairing permissions or a clean install of the latest I-Tunes
Hope it helps!

If you selected to throw them away then the are in the Trash; the Trash just doesn't automatically update to show that it's full.
That is, unless you don't have the proper permissions on your music files. Have you been messing around with permissions?

He said he chose to trash them. And it's "iTunes," not "I-Tunes" or "I tunes." (Normally it wouldn't matter if you called it the wrong name, but when you claim that there exists a directory "~/Music/I Tunes" then that's just too wrong. An incorrect space in a pathname can spell disaster if you're using something like rm.)
