I would love it if it was, but Filemaker inc. has not really had much of a presence in Apple forums in the past. Even Claris was a bit better on this.

And my feeling is that we will be waiting a few more months... after all, the db solution I am working on right now could really benefit from a couple of the solid rumors, and it will need to be done in a month or so... so chances are it will be right after that.

Oh.. and you know you are really over-reaching on FileMaker when you have to create an OmniGraffe document just to keep track of what relates to what...

I sincerely hope that there is some truth in this from Computer World. Seems that they expect something from FileMaker. I hope it's not another "solution" package but a full blown upgrade.

I suppose we will know in just a few days...

There's zero chance of it coming out in a few days. It'll be a while - my dad just got the beta a couple weeks ago, and he says it's great so far but has a long way to go. Give it a few months.

And apparently it's a complete overhaul. I'm not big into databases so I really have no idea what he was talking about when he told me about all the improvements, but he said this would be the biggest upgrade in a LONG time. It's OS X only as well - no more OS 9 support.
