I'm loving my G4 iBook so far. I'm trying to settle into it and all. One annoyance I've found so far that hopefully can be fixed is this:

In iChat, when my iBook goes to sleep, I am dissconnected. I don't want this.

Just some info about my book: 933 mhz, 640 ram, airport, 40 gig. Hope there's a fix.

When a Mac goes to sleep, everything is shut off. The computer just draws enough power to keep the RAM going, so that when you wake it up, everything is just the way you left it. Therefore, when it sleeps, all network connections, etc. are lost.

you could set it to only sleep the display when it's open, but when you shut the lid, sleep will be normal and you will be disconnected.
"You rise," he said, "like Aurora."
